What you'll learn, part one

Four building blocks, in plain english.

Connectors

Secure links to the apps you already use (email, calendar, files). Claude works with your real gym, and only ever what your own login can already see.

Skills

Teach Claude a task once (like your new-member welcome), save it, and it does that job the same way every time. Train it once, never re-explain.

Memory

Claude remembers how your gym works across chats, so it gets more useful over time. You can view, pause or wipe what it remembers whenever you like.

Access

You control exactly what Claude can reach, and it asks before it connects to anything. Nothing happens without your say-so.

Claude Cowork

Give it a goal and it goes and does the multi-step job across your files and tools, even while you get on with the gym. Built for non-techies. This is the real admin saver, and where we spend the day.

Not for you (yet)

Claude Code

A tool for software developers building apps. Not something you need to run the gym. We mention it so you know what it is when you hear the name.

Before Monday: Cowork lives in the Claude desktop app. Download it for Mac at claude.ai/download

Keeping your data safe

Claude only sees what you can already see.

It works inside your own logged-in access, nothing more.
It asks your permission the first time it connects. Nothing connects silently.
On email it drafts for you to check and send. It does not fire off messages on its own.
Anthropic does not train its models on your email, calendar or files.
You decide who's in

Your connected Claude stays yours. Not the whole team's.

The only key is the login. Whoever signs in sees everything it's connected to, so we keep the powerful, connected Claude on your private logins. We'll set this up properly on the day.

You two (the owners)

  • Your own private Claude logins, connected to the gym's email, calendar and member info
  • Never share that password, that is the wall
  • Everything it can reach stays behind your login

Your staff

  • If they want Claude for everyday bits, they get their own basic account
  • No connection to your gym data, so there is nothing sensitive for them to reach
  • On a shared computer, separate logins on the machine keep your session yours

Bring as much of this as you can.

At least one of each is enough. The more you bring, the more we build.

A rough number for John, for Rachel, and for your staff. Even a guess helps us aim at the biggest wins.

Every app you use to run the gym, small ones included. The fuller the list, the more we can automate.

At least one real admin job you did this week, ideally a few. Real beats hypothetical, we rebuild them live.

The Google account you run the gym on, ready to sign in. And your Claude subscription confirmed active.

The right setup
One main computer (not a phone), Chrome, and the Claude desktop app for Mac downloaded (claude.ai/download).

Your brand kit
Your logos, brand colours and guidelines in one folder on the computer (a file or zipped folder), so Claude can match your look.
